An Avatar Studio that allows members to select an avatar from images on the server. If one exists the old avatar image is deleted before the new one is saved. New avatar is displayed in Profile after the save routine completes; no refresh needed. The avatar folders are automatically sorted alphabetically. Supports images on the server in multiple directories (categories) in GIF JPG and PNG formats. Now compatible with div based 2 column themes.

• After your avatar is saved your profile is automatically displayed after an 'adjustable' timeout; simply change the timeout duration in the script at the bottom of 'avatar_functions.php' in the include folder

• Open 'avatar_studio.php' in your favorite editor and find line 73:



• $avatar_cols = 4;



• Change the value of '$avatar_cols' from 4 to 3 or 5 depending on your average avatar width. The default column value is 4 and will probably be the most usable & popular setting.



• Upload everything under 'files' to your 'root folder' and 'infuse' through your admin panel as usual.



• A public 'site link' is automatically created. Adjust to the menu position desired.

• Files: None



• Folders: 'avatar_studio' added in 'root/images/avatars/'



• Folders: 'avatar category' folders with images added in 'root/images/avatars/avatar_studio/'

• Additional avatar categories (folders with images) may easily be added:
  
  
  • Create your new folder in 'images/avatars/avatar_studio/' as desired.
  • Upload the new avatar images into the new folder.
  • Avatar Studio will automatically recognize and configure the new folder/images.
